Junior Company

2007/2008 Junior Company Members

Soon will be announced!

The Junior Company was formed in September 2003 to provide students wishing to pursue a career in dance, an opportunity to experience what the life of a professional dancer is like. It is an Honor to be chosen for this elite program and requires the student to make sacrifices with dedication and commitment that are hallmarks of a professional dancer. Based on our Company, the Junior Company represents the highest standard of artistry and technical achievement from the Center for Dance Education students. Students chosen for the Junior Company are expected to set an example in classroom etiquette as well as maintain the highest level of technical proficiency for their class level. This group will work with the Company for major productions providing a corps de ballet as well as a repertoire of their own ballets for outreach performances.

Students selected for the Junior Company must commit to the full season (school year); anyone who does not complete the full year will not be eligible the following year. Junior Company members must attend ALL rehearsals and Junior Company class, and be available to perform in all scheduled performances. Inability to rehearse or perform must be accompanied by a Doctor's note. During vacation weeks Junior Company members are encouraged to take Company Class.

The performance schedule will be posted as soon as requests for performances are confirmed. Casting and rehearsal schedules will be posted for each performance.

Welcome to the Junior Company of Ballet New England and the Center for Dance Education. We are proud of each and every member of this program.
